Summary:
Like Harriet Tubman School across the river, Gentilly Terrace School was designed by noted New Orleans architect Edgar Christy and is one of the few remaining Craftsman-style schools. The school, on Painters Street, now has a new roof and has had repairs made to its windows, doors and walls. New landscaping added shade trees, fruit trees and landscape-integrated stormwater solutions.
